NKT inaugurates expanded power cable factory in Portugal

NKT has completed the investment to expand its power cable production in Esposende, Portugal. The expanded facility strengthens NKT’s capacity and capabilities for medium- and high-voltage power cables, supporting the robust demand for power cable systems driven by the energy transition. NKT has welcomed more than 150 new colleagues to the site as a result of this factory expansion. The expanded factory will now enter a ramp-up phase, with the new capacity and capabilities gradually becoming operational over the coming months.
