You'll be responsible for the Accessories Engineering team in Alingsås, this includes the department for Applied Engineering and Technical service. Your department will be responsible for design and functionality of the complete product portfolio in ALS, including MVAC, HVAC, and HVDC. As our leader, you'll motivate and inspire the team, fostering a collaborative environment built on honesty, integrity, and continuous learning. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Engineering team to achieve project goals
• Oversee product design and adaptation for HVAC and HVDC cable accessories
• Ensure the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and installation instructions for incoming orders and sales
• Maintain and utilize CAD data and the Windchill PLM system
• Drive smaller-scale projects related to order adaptations and improvements
• Support technical solutions in various Tender and Commercial project phases
• Ensure compliance with HSE rules

This role requires a high technical interest and knowledge and the ability to share your knowledge. Your CV probably also includes:

• University degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• Over 10 years of experience in a Technical Specialist role within the field of Cable Accessories – preferably also experience of managing a team.
• Experience in project management is a merit.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of SAP and PDM systems is advantageous
• Experience with CAD tools
• Fluency in English
• Additional languages are considered a merit
