NKT Shared Service Centre for Accounting and Financial Control in Kaunas is looking for a motivated, curious and goals oriented colleague to join our engaged and skilled Accounts Receivable team of 9 professionals. What can you expect from the position?

You will work in an open, international and team-focused climate, where your personal career development and preparation for future attractive positions in the accounting/finance area will be supported by your direct manager and overall management team. Accounting Specialist in Accounts Receivable team is expected to ensure that all transactions are processed with efficiency and quality according to predefined standards and work processes and to assist accounting associates perform according to standards. Also we expect you to handle and respond to queries from customers in a timely manner. Other tasks will be:

• General accounting and bookkeeping according to local, international and industry specific accounting requirements.
• Participation in period-close procedures.
• Delivering accurate reports to clients and assisting senior members of the team in preparation of other daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly documents.
• Handling incoming and outgoing payments.
• Monitoring the financial transactions, check and review supporting documentation.
• Performing verification and reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Assisting with the monthly inter-company processes.

What do we expect from the candidate?

We expect you to be able to collaborate as well as be able to work independently and have analytical skills with attention to detail while international experience is valued, but not required.

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting (Shared Services organization or a major company experience is beneficial).
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline, higher commercial certificate or similar.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system.
• Good understanding of internal controls & risk management practices.
• Audit experience would be beneficial.
• Working English knowledge.

Salary range for this position is from 2100 Eur to 2350 Eur Gross.
