Meet our NKT Accessories team in India

"After commencing operations with just two people, NKT South Asia in India will grow to its team to ten by the end of this year covering all aspects in conduct and meeting growing demands of HV and MV accessories business", says Surendra Tammareddy (Managing Director, NKT India S/A).

NKT S/A is located in Gurgaon, an industrial city and an extremely popular centre for Indian start-ups. This is due not only to the wealth of talent available there but also to its enviable location, a mere 15 minutes from Delhi International Airport.

In addition to overseeing sales in the South Asia region, NKT S/A will be helping the accessory feeder factories in Alingsås and Nordenham to get closer to their customers there – by providing customer support and technical support services. NKT S/A is also geared up for kitting activities, sourcing some products from India which will make it possible to serve customers in South Asia and further afield more cost-effectively.

The NKT S/A team’s current focus is on the Indian and South Asian markets. Building on existing relationships with cable OEMs, EPCs and Utilities, it is also actively targeting new customers in HVDC and offshore cabling as the opportunities arise.
